Xiaoshuangqiao Site in Zhengzhou: Archaeological Excavation Report 1990-2000 (2-Volume Set) is a comprehensive and systematic academic report that introduces the findings of the archaeological excavations at the Xiaoshuangqiao Site of the Shang Dynasty in Zhengzhou. The Xiaoshuangqiao Site is located on the southern foothills of the Mangshan Mountain in the northwest suburbs of Zhengzhou, Henan Province. From 1990 to 2000, the Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Heritage and Archaeology and other institutions conducted surveys, explorations, and large-scale excavations, resulting in significant discoveries. The site dates to the middle Shang Dynasty. The abundant and diverse sacrificial remains allow for a multi-angle understanding of the rituals and ceremonies of the Shang Dynasty. The cultural relics unearthed at the site provide material evidence for studying the cultural landscape of the site and help in determining its chronological framework and periodization.
