Discover the Charm of Shang, Explore Ancient Daily Life

    On June 7, ahead of the 2026 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, the National Key Scientific Research Base for Urban Archaeology and Conservation (under the National Cultural Heritage Administration) joined hands with the School of Tourism Management, Zhengzhou Tourism College to launch the parent-child study tour themed Discover the Charm of Shang, Explore Ancient Daily Life in the northern area of Shuyuan Street at the Zhengzhou Shang Dynasty City Site. Ten families visited the archaeological site to explore the time-honored dietary culture of the Shang Dynasty centered on the ancient philosophy “Food is the paramount necessity of the people”.
